Warren Road Primary School Special Award 2016, Totally Active - South/ Central

Warren Road Primary School has fully embraced the environment and outdoor learning.  Their excellent Powerpoint presentation shows the many outdoor activities that take place throughout the school year and how all the children are fully involved in outdoor learning.  Activities include birdspotting, minibeast hunting and growing their own produce.  The children are able to eat the produce grown for their school lunches and any produce leftover is sold to parents and teachers to fund seeds for the following year.  It is lovely to see the photographs of children enjoying working in their school garden. Warren Road Primary School should be very proud of their wonderful school garden and their fantastic achievements.
