The Green Team Revolution!
Everyone at Hillcrest Primary School has been working very hard to transform their grounds and to make the school as environmentally friendly as possible. The children have produced a lively and enthusiastic video which showcases everything that has been happening in their school grounds and celebrates their great achievements. Outdoor space that was previously not being used has been transformed into wonderful areas for outdoor learning. Now there is a lovely woodland area that can be enjoyed by the children and raised beds where they can grow their own vegetables.
The Gardening Club has been busy learning about different tools and now has a fantastic space to garden in. The Green Team is making sure that the school is environmentally aware and takes part in activities such as litter picks. The children and community of Hillcrest Primary School must be congratulated - their hard work and dedication has produced a wonderful outdoor space and the children are now fully involved in caring for their environment.
