The children of Ryhall CE Academy have been busy learning about food chains this year. They took part in an exciting challenge to find out exactly what Ollie Owl had had for his dinner, which involved investigating real owl pellets. With the help of a bone chart, the children were able to work out what Awesome Ollie had been eating. It is fantastic to see how much the children enjoyed the experience of being forensic scientists and how it has inspired their work on food chains. This was a highly original and educational project.
