The children at Fochriw Primary School were inspired by a video made by the Eco-Committee called ‘WALES 2050’. The video resulted in a runners up award from the Welsh Government. It showed showed the children’s ideas about the country they’d like to have in the future.
When sharing this video in an Eco meeting the children wanted to produce a video to show WHAT and HOW they can achieve the type of future they want.
The video they created is a snapshot to showcase Fochriw Primary School’s approach to learning about climate change.
The project also included a beautifully presented and illustrated folder, filled with great examples of the children's work.
