The children of Logie Primary School have embarked upon a very exciting journey - to create a school farm and forest project. So far they have created an environmentally friendly community cafe ‘Cup of Joy’, where they sell delicious soups and home bakes. In the future they also plan to serve their own home-grown fruit and vegetables, so the positive environmental impacts of the project will be even stronger. It is fantastic to see how the cafe is being used as a means of reaching out to the local community, whilst giving pupils the experience of running a business at a very early age. We wish Logie Primary School every success with the further development of their fantastic school farm and forest project.
