Plastic Free Schools/ Save our Heathlands

Bury CE Primary School has done some fantastic environmental work this year.  The children have been learning about the dangers of single-use plastics and produced a brilliant video that was extremely informative and packed with great visuals to inspire the viewer.  They clearly feel very passionate about this issue and wanted to help make a difference before it is too late.  As part of their campaign, they requested a permanent recycling point at their school and there is now one in the school hall - fantastic!

Bury CE Primary School has also done some great work to help conserve their local heathland.   They've clearly built up a lot of knowledge about this habitat and benefited from a lot of hands-on experience to help them learn more. The children must be congratulated for their commitment to looking after the environment and for the changes they have already brought to their school and local heathland.
