Climate Crew

The children at Moore Primary researched the issues of waste, transport and marine pollution. Every weekend, a different year group borrowed litter pickers so that they could do some litter picking in the community.  The first Friday of every month is 'Funky Feet Friday'.  For Funky Feet Friday, the children wear trainers and walk to school or park further away and walk to help the environment. They also have walk to school weeks. For their green day, the children turned down the heating, turned the lights off when they were not using them and took part in environmental lessons. They are also are reducing single use plastic in school. What's more, the Climate Crew went on a trip to the recycling centre in Liverpool to learn more about effective recycling.
