The Growing School
At Dane Ghyll School, the children love to garden! They grow flowers, fruit and vegetables. They plant in the school grounds, in planters, raised beds, in the polytunnel, the greenhouse, in local woods and in local green areas.
All children aged 2 to 11 years are involved in planting ,watering ,nurturing ,harvesting ,cooking and eating our home grown produce. It's fantastic to see so many children so deeply involved in planting and growing their own fruit and vegetables!
