‘What’s in Your Box?’ was a fantastic way of getting the children and teachers at Rydon Primary School to think about recycling and upcycling items that might otherwise be considered as rubbish to be thrown away. A mystery box, containing items such as plastic bottles and cardboard boxes, was given to each teacher to open with their class. The challenge was to create something innovative, creative and functional for their class to use. There were many amazing creations including milk carton bird feeders, decorative vases and lanterns.
